Dr. Jamie Adams was born in upstate N.Y. but was relocated to Newnan, GA as a teenager. She graduated from East Coweta High School in 1999 and from there, attended GA College and State University, where she graduated with a B.S. degree in chemistry in 2003. She then went on to Graduate School at Clemson University with the intent of pursuing a PhD in medicinal chemistry. While in graduate school, she married her college sweetheart, Brook. They have been happily married for over 15 years and have two beautiful children, Landon, and Logan Olivia (Lola).
Dr. Jamie always knew growing up that she wanted a job where she’d be able to make a difference in people’s lives, so in going to graduate school for medicinal chemistry she thought she was on the right track to do so. But while she was at Clemson, she discovered that, as a nation, we have a really backward view of health and she began researching where health and healing truly come from. In her fourth year of graduate school, she found out she was pregnant and soon realized that she would no longer be able to work in a chemical lab. This was such a blessing in disguise because it gave her the opportunity to discover the truth about health; that it only comes from within, not from putting a bunch of chemicals in our bodies. She immediately applied to Life University and started the Doctor of Chiropractic program when her son was only seven weeks old. She graduated from Life University in December of 2011.
In October of 2013, she opened Covington Family Chiropractic, after spending a year as an associate doctor. Since 2013, she has grown Covington Family Chiropractic to be one of the largest pediatric and prenatal chiropractic offices in the State of Georgia and in the Southeast! Covington Family Chiropractic is a multi award-winning office and Dr. Jamie has been voted best chiropractor in two surrounding counties in 2016, 2018, 2109 and 2020 and was nominated for Small Business of the Year in 2017.
Dr. Jamie is an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is trained and certified in the Webster Chiropractic Technique. Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic technique that helps to correct imbalance and dysfunction in the pelvis of pregnant moms to help relieve pain and help the baby to be in the best position for labor and delivery.
Dr. Jamie is also an extension faculty member of Life University. For the past five years, she has had countless student interns come and finish their last quarters of chiropractic school in her office. Through hosting and mentoring these students, she has come to truly grow a passion for counseling future (especially female) doctors of chiropractic.
Solid Ground Chiropractic was born of two thoughts: service for the previously underserved community in Monroe, GA and the desire to mentor powerful female doctors to rise to their fullest potential. Bringing this vision to life has been an absolute joy.
In her free time, Dr. Jamie enjoys reading, especially anything historical fiction, weightlifting, and traveling.
Dr. Diones Valentin Ramirez was born in Puerto Rico, West area. She graduated from high school in 2011 and afterwards attended the University of Puerto Rico in Aguadilla where she graduated with a B.S. in Genetics in 2017. She went on to Ponce Health Science University to pursue a masters degree in Medical Sciences. However, she had always wanted a career in which she could serve in a natural, holistic manner and her current course of study wasn’t a match for her calling. That was when she decided to change careers and move to Marietta, GA to attend chiropractic school at Life University. She graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in September 2021. She uses Diversified Spinal Technique, Torque Release Technique, and Tonal techniques such as BGI.
Dr. Dio is an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is certified in the Webster Technique, allowing her to serve pregnant mothers to correct imbalances and dysfunction in the pelvis due to pregnancy. In her free time, Dr. Dio loves to read, watch tv, and exercise.
Dr. Ansley started working at Covington Family Chiropractic in 2016 as a Chiropractic Assistant! She originally was supposed to be at CFC just for a summer job, but ended up falling in love with chiropractic, ultimately deciding to make it her career. Dr. Ansley grew up in Covington, Georgia and wanted to come back to make an impact on her community’s health and function. She graduated from Life University with her Doctor of Chiropractic in December of 2022 and is so excited to be a part of you and your family’s health journeys!
Dr. Ansley utilizes manual adjustments, along with instrument adjusting through the Torque Release Technique! She is currently an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and uses the Webster Technique to adjust our pregnant moms through ensuring proper pelvic function. She loves working with families, kiddos, and mamas all throughout pregnancy!
